Hi,
I'm new to the site and it is a bit overwhelming. What I would like to do is restore my credit after being irresponsible and identity theft. I have tried to dispute the I'd theft with no success. Now I see that there is a better way to do it. What I done so far to start the restore process is:
1. USAA Secured Card $300
2. Cap One Secured $200
3. Chase Army MR Proprietary Card $250; opened 8/2006 but I haven't used it.
I'm starting with EQ 495 TU 513 EX 495. What can I do to improve?
Cheers,

Ill send you here for the ID Theft procedures, http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/General-Credit-Topics/Victim-of-Identity-Theft-What-To-Do-to-Protect...
use them and all the accounts that are not yours can be removed, if any CRA gives you guff after you go throught the steps then a complaint directly to the CFPB will get some results. Looks like you have 3 bankcards which is the minimum one needs to get better Fico scores. You might consider 1 store card that will help in the credit mix but it is not necessary right now, I would be putting in all the time getting the ID Theft accounts resolved first then go after any negatives that are legit while using the revolvers you have now.l
Thanks! What is CFPB?

the federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau that was created by the Dodd-Frank bill in 2010.
Do you have any recommendations on store cards? Especially with my scores being so low?
