Wait, actually I see it finally has, oops.
I mailed this payment back in December 2023, and it just stopped being reported in April ?? That's odd. It was being reported '90 days late' every month until April of this year.
So now I guess my question is is there any way to remove this from my report entirely? I keep getting denied for credit with the reasons being high utilization and serious delinquency. I've begun paying down my balances (22+ increase already!) but also want to work on the delinquencies.
You might not be able to post photos, or screen shots until you've reached the rank of "member" which I believe takes around 5 to 10 posts and around 10 sign ins.
As far as your CO reporting, it's reporting accurate if it shows a zero balance. The fact that it has stopped reporting only means that the reporting has gone dormant (which is pretty common). If you were to dispute it however, it would no doubt be reported up to the current date, so leave it alone.
You need to determine when it first went into default which would be the first 30 day late that eventually led to the charge off status. That will determine when it's eligible to come off your reports as too old to report. If for example it happened in March or April of 2018, it would be eligible for Early Exclusion on Trans Union right now (6 months early).
Check your reports at Annual Credit Report and see when the DOFD was .
Thank you! Little frustrated at the moment - I went to Transunions website to dispute/ask for early exclusion and it gave me an error message saying I have to call them to dispute. So planning on calling them tomorrow.
Also just tried getting my CR from annual credit report, made the mistake of accessing it from my phone so I wasn't able to print it out to actually view it - so now barred from accessing my reports for a week lol annoyed. But going to keep trying...
thank you for responding <3
You know, you can go directly to the websites of the CRA's to request reports as well. TransUnion and Experian will give you a new report, daily. Equifax has a limit of about 12 a year, I believe.
This is just in case you do not want to wait a week if something similar happens in the future.
Good luck.
