How to Handle this OC

I have an acct with HSBC/Kawasaki that was for my motorcycle. The payments fell behind due to switching of jobs and the bike was going into repo but was never repo'd. Thankfully we paid it off with a balance transfer to one of my parents cards. The account is now showing as this: HSBC/RS Transunion Account No.: xxxxxxxxxxx**** Condition: Derogatory Balance: $0 Type: Charge account Pay Status: Collection/Chargeoff Equifax 80061110296**** Closed (Paid) - Balance: Charge account Collection/Chargeoff Experian 11-110296**** Open $0 Charge account Current What are my options? It is not with any CA's or anything as it was paid in full with the balance transfer

Re: How to Handle this OC

What do you want to do with it..get it deleted..is this you oldest account...if the account is closed(paid)...and not a collection...it should remain for 10 years after paid...if you want it all updates...just dispute with the CRA who are reporting...derogatory..

Dispute is a closed(paid)...to the ones who show derogatory...does this account have any lates...if so I think it will show derogatory...if it does GW to have the lates removed...

Re: How to Handle this OC

Well yeah it has some lates.....I took a pay loss due to jobs of about $25k which is what got it close to repo anyhow...then my father balance transferred it for me...so I am assuming my best option is to GW HSBC but I dont think that will work as I have heard HSBC doesnt budge

Well it's still a derog account...although it's paid..it still has negative history...send GW letters over and over...or dispute it as never late...

Re: How to Handle this OC

How would I go about finding the address to send a GW letter to?

Re: How to Handle this OC

GW should go the the address on your CR

When it comes to scores and COs  FICO treats them the same.......whatever you do   do NOT file a dispute with the CRAs  as it will update & look new to FICO  let it age.

Re: How to Handle this OC

I am guessing just explain the situation of the job change and explain that as soon as we could we paid it off and balance transferred it?
