MyFICO Complete and DOFD Question

I ordered MyFICO complete tonight, and I have a collection account I have been disputing for months (almost a year now) -- that account still shows up on TU, but has fallen off EQ and EX.

What I need help with.. is where on my TU report (bought with MyFICO Complete) does it show DOFD?  The closest I can see is DATE REPORTED and DATE CLOSED.  Are either of these the same as DOFD?

If it is, then the CA is trying to re-age the account with TU.  The account's DOFD was 7/2001 or 9/2001 (depending on which CRA report you look at)

I posted here since I needed to know IF they are trying to re-age the account.

EDIT to Add: BAH-- I looked at EQ again, and they have the same account listed as 120-days late now.  This is getting on my nerves!  And again, I cannt determine what they are reporting as DOFD"

Thanks!

Re: MyFICO Complete and DOFD Question

You aren't going to get DOFD from reports pulled via 3rd party sites, such as myFICO or TC.

If you haven't already gotten your free annual reports, I would suggest doing that.

Re: MyFICO Complete and DOFD Question

Okay, was not aware that information was not included.  I did get a lot of other useful information though!

This one CA account is really starting to bug me though.  One CRA reports 2/2001, another reports 9/2001 and NOW EQ reports 11/2001.

The reason I need this ONLY negative factor off my credit report is...  2 weeks ago, I was involved in a hit and run that detroyed our car.  It was paid off, fully covered, and in exceptional condition -- the insurance agency is being slow on the repayment, and once they DO pay, I need to go out and get another car.  This will mean a new car payment, and my interest rate is going to (of course) be based on my credit.   As it is, I can't really wait til november and trust that this CA will finally drop the account from my reports, and I cant afford a 12-16% interest rate on a car loan (regardless of a new or used car).   I have NO idea which CRA the dealerships use for pulling credit, but unless it is EQ, I'm pretty much screwed.  Can't work til I recover from my injuries, and even then, I'll need a car since my work IS my car.

Bah, just venting and have NO clue how to get my score up in the next 7 to 10 days.

Re: MyFICO Complete and DOFD Question

Do you have past car loans?

It is likely that a car dealership will use a auto-enhanced FICO score.

What this means is, it is a FICO score, but more emphasis is placed on prior car loans.

If you have past car loans that were clean, it is possible that your auto-enhanced FICO score will be higher than your classic scores you are seeing.

What are your current scores?

Re: MyFICO Complete and DOFD Question

My last car loan was paid off in 1996 and does not show on the only one it was reported to back then.
Since then, I paid cash for my previous 2 vehicles, the last one which is sitting in an unidentifiable heap at a junk yard.

My scores are at the bottom of my post =P  I just pulled them tonight.

Re: MyFICO Complete and DOFD Question

Cheer up. I got a car loan with no FICO scores, and an EX FAKO of 545.
