Hello,
I am new to the forum here, but I have learned quite a bit from you all. I am asking on advice where to start in my credit rebuilding process. I have a total of 7 collections, (YIKES), and I am looking to try and get rid of them.
Here they are:
RMP Serv- $128 (Medical) 2015
Centrl FIN.-$3,019(Medical) 2015
Stellar- $603 (Dish Network) 2014
AFNI- $1,013 (AT&T) 2015
Portfolio Recovery-$481 (Capital One) 2015
Diversified Consultants-$571.-2015
My credit score is right around a 580. Does anyone have any advice on how to potentially get rid of these. Should I send pay for delete letters, get them to verify the debt, or contact the original creditor? Please excuse my ignorance, but thank you all for the help!
For unpaid medical debt that is reporting on your CR:
1. Call the OC and see if you qualify for Charity Care
2. If not then ask that they recall the collection in exchange for full payment
3. Send the reporting CA a PFD offer
4. Google the HIPAA Process and contact its creator for help
