Questions about deletions

Hello all...I have a question or two. I'm in the first few months of cleaning up my credit and have had some success in cleaning up a few old zombie debts that were resold and added in the past year or two.

1. If I get a deletion with Experian can I use the results of the dispute to assist with another cra?

2. Some of the debts are vaild , do settlement for deletion letters work with medical bills?

3. Do letters to the cra requesting non account bearing inquiry deletions work?

4. Now that I have raised my scores by about 25 points and have 3 ea $500 cc's how long should I 'garden'? And does it hurt to try a few CLI requests after a few months?

5. Last but not least! All of my new lines of credit are about a month or so old and have produced statements , paid in full, but I'm not seeing them reports yet . About how long does it take Cap1 accounts to start reporting?

Re: Questions about deletions

Hello and welcome.

I would let your new CC's garden for about six months before applying for anything else.

If your debts are valid, send in a DV so you can find out any important information (amount, originial creditor, etc) regarding the debt. Once verified, start the PFD process.

For all things medical, google the HIPAA process, you might find help there. It cannot be discussed on these boards.

The credit reporting agencies do NOT share information, so if you got something deleted, you have to go about handling with each one individually.

My Capital One took about 3 months before it reported, but when it does, it will have the months prior.

I hope I covered everything!

Thanks so much for the info.

Curiosity is killing me though on onle last thing...what about my 3rd item? Is it worth the time to ask cra's to remove inquiries not related to reported accounts?

I don't mess with inquiries, LOL. If I know I inquired about them, I let them age off. After a year they don't hurt much. If you inquired, I wouldn't mess with them either, but if you DIDN'T that's a different a story.
