Re: Rebuild Update for 2020

I don't know how people have had success with comenity. Instead of telling me they have to report accurately they tell me PRA has your account any questions about it you have to contact them. I don't even think they actually read the letter because i sent one saying i paid PRA now can you remove your tradeline and no not in those exact words. At this point I'm just going to send letters to them to annoy them.

Re: Rebuild Update for 2020

So National Credit Adjusters just added themselves back to my credit report as of today which is hilarious since they fall off January 2022. They actually only added back to Experian which is my highest score so i guess they was trying to cause a high score drop so that i would pay. Too bad my file is already dirty so haha they tried and failed. Also good thing i moved getting a car until December of next year so they will be gone and i will be collection free by that time.

Re: Rebuild Update

Why is Equifax such a problem...I lost 6 points just because on one of my credit cards it went from $32 posted to $237 which is still under 30% for overall utilization and individual utilization. I need Equifax to grow but it is the only one that keeps dropping after every little thing. The only one that cares about my installment loan balances and the only one i lost a point to because of a collection being paid off. This is insane i can't wait until my reports are cleaned in 4 years.

Re: Rebuild Update

Yeah and it also doesn't help how much of a pain equifax is and that is the score I need to increase for my car loan.

Re: Rebuild Update for 2020

So navy federal has shady business practices. I tried to pay on my repo and they sent me a letter on 1 amount but claiming I owe $2058 more than that amount. Also my loan was only 32797 but the amount they claim I owe minus the amount they sold the car for is the full loan amount even though I made a year worth of payments. They can't even tell me why it is that much. So upset!

Re: Rebuild Update for 2020

Soooo some good news for me....I paid off the two smaller student loans and only have 3 left to pay but I'm going to pay 2 off and only the minimum on the last one so I can have an open installment loan and so the 10 years starts later on when everything else gets more age to it. Also DRS removed themselves from Experian and I gained 14 points! So everything is looking up now. I hope the same happens for my other reports. I will be collection free in March 2022 thanks to NCA adding themselves back but I'm glad i gained those points with 2 collections still reporting and a nice and dirty file.

Re: Rebuild Update for 2020

@simplegirl I have a collection from TXU....have you had any luck with getting that removed? If so, what did you do?  I live in Arlington TX and there's a TXU branch just up the road and thought of literally driving there instead of doing the PFD and doing the PFD in person lol.  Let me know who/what success you've had.  Thanks!

Nope I haven't every time I send a PFD letter they just send me debt validation and pretty much ignore what is in the letter. I don't stay close to a branch so I have just been leaving it alone until it falls off in 3 years.
