Hey I have auto loans with ally financial I hard a hard patch when I first took out the loan in 2013 the first 6 months I lost my job car got repo I got my car out of repo and payed every month on time for the next five years to get this card back into good standing and paid off problem is it still has repo under comment section on my credit reports and the vehicle is paid off but I keep getting denied credit for it

I would try a GW letter to them and see if they would change it. The only thing they call say is no.

@Quame15 Since it was in Fact Repo'd then I'm not sure if they would take that off BUT the good news is there are many places that will still work with you as far as getting a vehicle goes etc with a Repo reporting you just have to work with a place that has Challenged Credit Specialist or Repo Specialist (NOT A BUY HERE PAY HERE). There are well known dealerships that offer such if you are looking to get a new car. If they do not offer a program or a team or can't tell you a few of the banks/lenders that they work with that assist with that situation, then I would skip them it will only make things harder on yourself or cause a lot of uneeded inquiries/damage. So I'm not sure if by getting denied credit you mean vehicle wise, but if you mean Credit Card wise who are you trying to get in with and maybe someone that has similar reports etc can assist. You may need to make a new post on those specific Cards you are interested in for advice ^^
