I had a collection hit my credit about 5 months ago. I did a dispute online with Experian in February and about 2 weeks ago I received an email they removed it!! So now I have done an online Dispute with Equifax and TransUnion as well to hopefully have it deleted. What are the odds that they will both delete it if Experian did??
Also, if any of you have Experian, are the FICO 8 scores they provide your actual credit score? Sorry for the crazy question, I'm just trying to get a mortgage soon and need a few things cleared up
Any Fico score provided is a real score for that particular model of Fico (basic, mortgage, bank card, auto, etc).
What about the first part of my question ![]()

Was it a legitimate collection you just wanted off your CR? Or was there actually something you disputed about it?
I bring this up because it may be deleted and then it will be placed back on your CR next month when they report again or get jotification of it's removal.
Hopefully it doesnt stick!
It was a stupid collection from AT&T for $300 stating I did not pay my last bill of service or return equipment which was not true. The bill was paid over 7 months ago and everything returned.
It took over a month for the dispute investigation, but when it was finished, they had deleted it from Experian.

I am sure as long as you sent proof of final payment, it should just be deleted. Sometimes ot takes 30-60 days to be fully updated. You can always give them a call if it has been at least the minimum 30 days to investigate to see where it is at. The other reporting agencies will not go off what another one does. They each do their own individual investigations.
Experian does provide actual FICO scores. You will want to get your mortgage scores, though, since that is the scores lenders will use for a mortgage. I get mine through MyFICO, but Experian also provides you with your mortgage score through them, too. You will need all 3, though, to determine what your middle score is.
Good luck!
