I had a question to see if you have any experience with an issue I am having. I recently got a 30 day late payment adjustment on my credit reports and felt the effects to my scores across the three bureaus, TU/EQ/EX. I reached out to any and everyone I could with WF, sending the same goodwill adjustment letter to multiple offices, and even to top leadership of the company. Leadership was the best option, I got in touch with someone he asked to help me. While they ultimately gave the typical story "According to the Fair Credit Act we must disclose all..." that meant I wouldn't receive any help. I made a plan to build my credit back as my Fiance and I are aiming to buy a home in the next 10-12 months(had a 85-90 point drop on my scores across the three bureaus). However, just before Thanksgiving I got a notification that WF made a change to my account and my score went up. I was delighted... until Two weeks later when they added it back and editted my account to current rather than late. That helped some but obviously I was disappointed. Today, I checked my score after bringing down my utilization to 20% overall and expected to see a little bump, and saw that they removed it AGAIN. Obvoiusly I am overjoyed but also nervous.
I really hope this is the last time and that there is someone out there aiming to help me, but I would really just like to know the final resting place so I can work on progress and set goals for myself accordingly. Any experience with something like this?
