What exactly constitutes "validation"?

So I sent a DV letter to the oh so great AFNI asking them to validate two separate accounts. One of the two they ignored the other one they sent me a copy of the first page of an old verizon phone bill from 2003. I don't believe this is my bill. Then a few days after that I get a letter from them (regarding the same account) that the investigation was delayed due the the fact they needed more information such as what I am disputing and why and a bunch of other info I do not feel comfortable giving theese EDITED.

Don't help them do their job. Sending you the first page of some account, doesn't constitute a validation in my book. Give them a total of about 35 days (extra days to account for snail mail), then send the follow up letter demanding they remove. At the same time dispute with CRAs.
