You're truly OCD when the day comes that you find yourself commenting to your friends about what card they should use/rewards, and helping those close gain ground.
I have to admit I am a little obsessed. It has leveled off a little, but now I am trying to get my close friends and family onboard. Really, it's not a bad obsession to have so i'll take it lol...best of luck to everyone on their journey. This site is not only good for a wealth of info, but it has some of the most supportive users i've seen on a community forum which makes a huge difference.
I am obsessed!! If I am not on my computer reading through the forums I have it up on my phone. I love learning all of this information. I am kind of at a stand still with my CR for right now. Not a long term stand still by any means but I am still getting antsy. I just sit and read and read and read!
I am definitely obsessed....but for me all I can do now is read all the other wonderful stories. I am at a standstill for a while probably. Have the , well now 4 Cap One cards, rarely use them...would probably benefit more if I would but hard to remember to use them. I have my auto loan from April of this year. Pay on it for a while to help build credit more then go for a newer auto in another year and half to 2 years. Will be 4 years post BK 7 filing this August. So...like I said, I just sit and read all the other wonderful stories of everyone else getting approved and credit rating goin up, etc
To say I'm obessed is an understatement! lol On here every day, scouring where I can find any information I can get. Soon I'll be able to post updates and hopefully help those who need it.
My BF has awful credit and I decided to take control of the whole credit repair process. He is extremely thankful I found this site! I couldn't have done it without it.
I recently went to a seminar on short sales and foreclosures because I am a newly licensed real estate agent.....I actually felt pretty proud of myself I could answer the surrounding participants answers on credit scores and what the effects of foreclosures and all that has on your credit. I even answered the questions better than the person giving the seminar! Only thanks to this forum!
lol I use to be crazy obsessed when it came to thickening my CR, I paid for fico scores and kept SW on the norm tied in with paid subscriptions through other sites for fako's and daily pulled for a good 6 months faithfully always hoping for a increase in score somewhere whenever I did something, not knowing I had to wait until statements posted and all that good stuff. Now that my CR is spotless and on the right path of thickening I have taken a rest and cleared all my subscriptions (now that I am getting free fico score's through the shortcuts provided by our community) and I have taken to a new obsession while in the garden, and that's trying to help my friends and close family members get on the right path to good credit, and in my free time I just like to look through different post and look through all the different type of situations/hardships that people post on here/are faced with and read through the solutions informed members offer and try to gain more knowledge and retain the knowledge I just gained for that exact situation. I get a kick out of this also because I know as I get older and face these situations I will be very prepared, and won't have to worry about going into these situations blind! By doing this also I find others in my situation that I was in weeks/months/or even years ago and I get to help others by offering my solutions and sometimes I even run across situations where I just learned something new and I get to apply that information, and it feels good knowing I am able help others, especially when I see success from the solutions I offered to others! I.e. - (when they update on their post 3-6 months later stating my methods or solutions worked for them!) -LJ
RealLilJ, that is awesome seeing a 19 year old take control of their credit. I think you will have a wonderful less stress filled life than many of us on here. At least that is my hope for you. Just don't lose your goals.
Cheers
Brenda
I wouldn't say I'm obsessed, but, I'm very determined. My wife says I'm obsessed, but that's only because while waiting on responses and whatnot on my issues, I've started working on her issues. It really starts after you get your first baddie removed.
OK, i'm obsessed.
I am!
Its getting to the point where I lose sleep writing letters to get incorrect credit inquiries removed and on days when CreditKarma gets updated, I check every single hour until it updates.
I was the victim of identity theft in 2009 and didnt know it until 2012. Getting the all of the crap off my credit report has been horrible...but every day I am one step closer!
I'm thoroughly obsessed! I should be working right now but I can't stop checking the forums. I agree with on of the posters above, these are by far the most supporting posters on any forum I've ever participated in.
