up 23 points in a WEEK :)

So, last week I sent out about 6 GW letters, CHASE removed their whole tradeline and I got my auto loan AMERICREDIT to delete the 1 30 day late we had this past feb. And my score went up 23 points since last week!

2 of my GW were denied, and 2 havent been answered yet... hoping for the best!

Just need 45 more points! I know I can do it

How did you write your GW letters? Is there a standard format?I have flags on my report from YEARS ago and would like to ask to get them removed but I have no idea how to go about it. Any help would be appreciated!

I did not use any format, but you can find good ones on here,just search GW letters. I simply wrote letters and emails that were personal, and explained to them what had happened, why my payment was late, what  I did to make it better, and what I want from them.

an example is our auto loan, we have had it for 16 months. In february of this year, we paid off everything on our credit reports, and we didnt pay the car loan. I explained to them that I had paid off everything that month, and were trying to buy a house and this 30 day late is the only reason we cant. They called me and it was deleted the next day.
