Re: Just so I have this correct

You can find cheap personalized stationary at most drug stores. I have never used college ruled paper, so I cannot say for sure if it will work.

Re: Just so I have this correct

Well this is a little confusing. I believe that when you say personalized stationary you do not mean with your personal info on it do you? I had some colored paper that I put a border on it from my computer and I must say it doesn't look too bad. As for handwriting I am assuming that you are referring to doing that so they cannot scan the document into a computer, but I think with anything they can do that now. So I am just wondering if you could use a handwriting font and be done with it. Fused, you have so many great answers for everyone I hope you could please explain in detail why we shouldn't do computer generated letters. Thanks a million.

Re: Just so I have this correct

No personal info, just personalized stationary, just like you did. Handwriting the letter is the best way to avoid an electronic MOV by the CRAs - aka - e-ocsar. You want a human to handle your dispute, not a computer. Here is more info.

So go ahead and do the border thing but handwrite the letters.

Re: Just so I have this correct

Yes, that would be fine. I don't want people to think they have to go out and use expensive paper and slap their letterhead on it. What we're trying to accomplish here is a computer failure to verify. The whole E-Oscar process should be investigated by Federal authorities. Countless disputes are NEVER properly investigated. Its a complete joke.

You're welcome! I'm not an expert. I do work in healthcare and I'm also quite familiar with credit rebuilding (restoration). Med collections are just different because of the protection we are afforded under HIPAA.
