Settled med collection still reporting

I had one medical collection, they settle for less, but they wont remove it from the report. would you please tell me what I should do? would you be kindly send me a sample letter?

Hello TLx,

I moved your post over here to this board and created a new thread for it. I edited your message to change the subject, but did not change the message itself.

I would suggest you start be reading the stickied threads at the top of this board. One of them states what information is needed to get accurate advice. Read that and post back here with the needed information and someone will reply and help you out.

I see that you settled for less on this medical debt.

On your reports, is this collection showing a $0 balance?

Is this collection on all three of your reports?

Who did you pay, the original creditor (hospital, doctor, dentist, etc.) or the CA (collection agency)?
