Anybody pre-ordered PLASTC?

Has anybody pre-ordered PLASTC?  It's an electronic card that holds 20 different credit cards, uses a E Ink display, Chip and PIN, and other security measures.  It sure would beat carrying 10 cards in your wallet.  I know other similar ideas have failed but hopefully this works out

Re: Anybody pre-ordered PLASTC?

Yes, I preordered it about a year ago now, they said they would have an update on exact shipping dates this week, but now they are saying next week. I wish they would at least give us a mini update, lol. But hey, I'm kind of excited for this product, I would like to be able to ditch my wallet and just have this and my license in my phone case, I'm just debating on whether I should still carry my double cash as a backup in case something goes wrong, since this is so new, and EMV won't be supported out of the box, they are updating that later.

Overall, I think this one had much better features than it's competitors, Coin, Swyp, and whatever else there was, I just hope they can deliver on everything they are promising...

I don't understand how something like this can support chip transactions

Re: Anybody pre-ordered PLASTC?

They need to establish some kind of relationship with the banks, so not every bank will be supported unfortunately, but I'm hoping at least the big ones will be on board (Citi, Discover, Amex, etc.)

Surprised to see the EMV on the new version of this.. Will be interesting.  I would get it they took all the major banks being Amex/Chase/Citi/BofA/Cap1 etc.. Once they are on board and the EMV works I would order it.. Although explaining it to some people would be bothersome

I'd like to try it, but want a more defined date of delivery.

Re: Anybody pre-ordered PLASTC?

I would consider buying it... But since I still carry cash and receipts as well as other loyalty cards I don't know if I would have much use. I barely use Apple Pay.
