Whats the trick to being a Community Leader?
Is it a popularity contest because I see CLs with significantly less "experience" here then others. It is rather insulting sometimes
There's no trick, and it's definitely not a popularity contest... more info is here: https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/User-Guidelines-General/Criteria-for-Community-Moderators-and-Commu...

Exactly, it's done for enjoyment not for value add
@Anonymousthanks for the detailed stats. Below are mine. I don't post all that frequently so that's my constraint. For many others it is number of log-ins. Generally not minutes on-line (except when there was a system glitch that reset minutes). It would be interesting to get more data points for minutes on-line for Valued, Senior, Super and Mega contributors. That's not a visible public domain attribute in user profiles.
Sign ins and minutes on-line for @M_Smart007 would be particularly insightful given his rather recent membership and Mega rank.
Probably The Best Analogy on Ranking!

Thanks for the stats.
As of 8/13/2020 it looks like you are potentially under 400 posts from reaching Epic Contributor rank. Your minutes on-line and sign-ins have surpassed their respective thresholds based on the latest table update per this link:
https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/SmorgasBoard/Community-Ranks/m-p/6099906#M77728
It appears the threshold for minimum # of sign-ins (specifically at frequent contributor ranking and above) is lower than originally thought. That's understandable as some MyFICO addicts don't signout all that often. Some thresholds have been reduced accordingly.
Thanks for the post. Glad to know where I stand I love this site and seem to refer to to a lot. Glad I finally joined with others in my credit journey!!
@Thomas_Thumb: Here's another snapshot from a member that just reached 'Frequent Contributor' this morning.
It seems like the Signins:TotalPosts ratio has to be somewhat close.
No Mega yet. 🙄 I've spent less time on the forum since work is busy, plus I've lost my extra lunch time.
You certainly have sufficient posting activity. Lacking in total minutes online is my bet - need to get over 200,000.
@Anonymous @Thomas_Thumb
Here you go! I clicked over to Established Contributor at 500 post. I had 251 logins while the post count was 463
