Does anyone else have dreams of apping?

On occasion, I'll apply for cards in my dreams.  Last night I was "approved" for some obscure Mastercard and one of the blue Amexes.  I woke up before I found out what my limits were. Smiley Happy

In these dreams, I always think to myself "I need to log onto MyFICO and reset my spade to a seedling."  I'm always relieved when I wake up. I have enough cards already! Haha.

Anyone else go through this?

No I've never dreamt of such things but in my best impersonation of an armchair physcologist, I'd say that maybe, just maybe you've been in that garden a little too long and it's starting to get to you, haha. good on you for sticking to it though!!

Lol.  Can't say I have.  But I am pretty bad at remembering my dreams.

For you, CM, perhaps, per your sig, start dreaming of a good 2% CB card with a nice Intro Bonus?  Smiley Wink

LOL, back during the final months of my Chapter 13 I had such dreams; I was one of those unfortunates where the Trustee said, "No credit, not even a secured card".  Given I hadn't had a credit card for nearly 7 years by that point in time, not only were the dreams vivid, but they got the better of me; within ten months of my discharge I'd rung up 18 hard pulls with one secured credit card to show for all those apps.  Smiley Sad

Chapter 13:

  • Burned: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, and South County Bank (now Bank of Southern California)
  • Filed: 26-Feb-2015
  • MoC: 01-Mar-2015
  • 1st Payment (posted): 23-Mar-2015
  • Last Payment (posted): 07-Feb-2020
  • Discharged: 04-Mar-2020
  • Closed: 23-Jun-2020

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

In the proverbial sock drawer:

Actually with your CC lineup and score, no one would blame you for going on app spree!

Haha... I forgot all about posting this topic.  I don't hit Smorgasboard very often.

My lineup is fine for me.  I can barely manage 4 cards, remembering when payments are due, much less 10+.  So, I'll continue to app only in my dreams...
