Found Someone's Freedom

Waiting for the subway after work today I saw a Freedom card on the ground.

Picked it up and called Chase, and they took my contact info and the details of where I found the card.

I'm assuming they wanted my contact info so they can reach me if the card's owner wants it back. They didn't tell me if I was in the owner's home neighborhood, but if the owner is here on vacation, I wouldn't mind meeting up, if it saves them from a lot a trouble from being without their card vs having a new one shipped out.

Chase put a temp hold on the card and said if I don't hear anything in a week to cut it up.

So now I've got a Freedom in my wallet two years early (darn 5/24 rule), even if it isn't actually mine or usable Smiley Happy
