Project Car(s)

Just curious if anyone has a project car/s or is planning on one. Wife gave in on me getting one. Not sure what I want. These are my options. The s2000 and 460L would be the hard ones to get locally. I just can't make up my mind.

Between that list, i'd go with the 280z imo.

I don't really consider them project cars, however here are my weekend toys:

I'm in the process of looking for another specific car, but i'm also waiting until we build our new house and move into it so i'll have more room.

Re: Project Car(s)

I bought a '57 Ranchero on impulse last year for $1500. It's a roller. Body is straight, no glass, dash and some interior pieces are in the bed. I have an engine and trans for it in the barn. Had a leftover running 460 and had been looking for a while for something fun to stick it in, horse traded some random stuff for cobrajet heads for it. It's chilling under a cover in the backyard, it may be a while 'till I get around to it, I may be going to grad school next year if I get accepted......

Hopefully after grad school I'll see a sufficient salary increase to fund this project and keep it running......

I've always wanted one of those M3s.

That's gonna be nice when it's done. My neighbor has an El Camino that I don't think he'll ever fix. Lol

Whoooaaa I was way off. Hmmm. I never thought I would mistakenly call a Datsun good-looking. What’s next? Gremlins? Eagle?
