Did not sleep well and I an early meeting I have to attend in person that will last a good part of the day.

Sleep was a mixed bag, enough to function without ending up in jail
Sorry you did not sleep well
It's dark when we leave in the am, but at least there is still light when I leave work
Soon that will change and I'll leave for work and come back from work while it's dark outside
That's the one thing I hate about PNW, perpetual dark from November through March
On a positive side, it will rain for 9 months straight, so we'll end up complaining about that instead 
When I first moved to US, I thought the whole rain thing was just a fluke, ya know..that one winter

Remember, you can eat cow in the dark or the light
I hate the leaving for work in the dark and then leaving to go home in the dark.
Not all the US has a 9 month rainy season. You can always head up to Yakima more often in the winter and see lots of snow in Snoqualmie Pass.

I got more than 2 hrs sleep last night so I don't think I will need to drink 3 quarts of coffee again today.
Halloween will be here before we know it so I figure it is time for a gentle reminder.
If I squint my eyes enough those socks do kinda make me think of USB socks.
