Re: Unboxing of the Gemini Card

Sort of unclear on WHY you posted an unboxing of this card... it's not a new card that just came out?

I have the rose gold one. I keep it in my wallet, even though I rarely use it, cuz it's super sexy.

Re: Unboxing of the Gemini Card

Similar to an Apple Card without any identifiable numbers on it....I am a big fan of this design.  I don't worry when it leaves my sight (like at a restaurant or in a store where I am seated or away from the cashier as my cards get processed for a purchase.  Frankly, I wish more card issuers got on board with this design.

astute of you @cashorcharge

This unboxing is very familiar to the Applecard.  In fact, I would say Gemini/webbank is probably using the same fulfillment firm as Apple/Goldman:

Re: Unboxing of the Gemini Card

That is a beautiful card! Gemini did a good job. I will eventually get the black or silver one. The engraving adds a nice touch too and bonus points for being metal!

Too bad that I will need to be in the garden for a little while; I have a mortgage on the horizon and I need to be squeaky clean.

We have the AMEX Rose Gold that my DW carries.

Yes, this card is a few years old.   However, I had decided to create a thread for a few reasons:

  • dont believe anyone had done an unboxing
  • point out that this is just like the unboxing of the Apple Card
  • to show the new stunning Orange Bitcoin  [my pics suck] version   (I had thought  I was getting Orange from the beginning)  but got the black and decided to still post.

I did hit the SUB so expecting the $200 SUB  in crytpo soon.

Re: Unboxing of the Gemini Card

I want to get the XRP version of this card through Gemini.

This card is offered through WebBank

I applied and was turned down.

Does anyone know the thresholds for approval?

Re: Unboxing of the Gemini Card

Options now include a Solana themed card (purple to green gradient) to go with the XRP (gray) and Bitcoin (orange). The three original colors appear to all still be available (black/silver/rose gold). You can only get two card replacements per year, according to the replacement tab in app.

The Solana one is a little tempting, but I don't like the crypto symbol embossed on the front (although you can set the cards to any of the options). I'll continue to stick with my rose gold; it remains unique enough visually in my lineup.

Re: Unboxing of the Gemini Card

I like that XRP version too now.

They pulled EX and my score was 795 with 1% UTI.

PS @unsungivy ,

One can get more than two cards annually but there is a $20 fee...

Re: Unboxing of the Gemini Card

True on paying for more than 2 cards. I just disregard that because doing that would be absurd!
