Re: Cap One Venture card

Well, by golly @NoHardLimits - very nice.  I stand corrected👌

Recent Venture approvals have not mentioned CCs issued in metal version so this is a recent development.

Re: Cap One Venture card

I just did a quick internet seach for metal credit cards 2021, and a bunch of links popped up showing the Venture card.  Creditcardinsider's site said "Capital One has told us that not all accounts are eligible for a metal card.  Your eligibility will be determined when you apply." so YMMV.

Capital One Venture Mastercard Metal?

I had an offer to change my Quicksilver with Capital One to the Venture card, and was curious if they're issuing the World Elite Mastercard version of the Venture card as a metal card? I saw online some people back in 2017 saying that Capital One was not, but curious if that is still the case or not. Thank you!

The metal was a limited edition for limited time. No longer available. https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/SmorgasBoard/Venture-MasterCard-Metal-or-not/m-p/5259952

That's a bummer. I am not interested in that card, but when I saw it previously launched metal cards, I assumed it was a permanent move for the card line.

That's what I thought as well. I figured since they're actively making the Savor card a metal card, they could also just make the Venture card metal. I also thought I saw an unboxing video within the last month or two and they had a metal card. I'll have to just wait I guess.

My understanding is that if you PC to it it's not issued as a metal card, it's typically for new applications.
