Does anyone use Visible for their wireless carrier?
I have been a 20+ yr customer of Verizon, but have been thinking of switching (especially since they're raising their rates by $4 a month at the end of March) to Visible. I currently have 5 phones on my plan, and switching would save me roughly $110-120 a month. Plus, I like that there's no hidden line charges, taxes, etc....everything is built in.
I know that they use the Verizon network and that with the lower-tier plan, your data could be throttled, but I work from home and live in an area with a very good Verizon network (DC/Balt metro area). I just wanted to see if anyone else had made the jump and what was your experience.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I have it for my son. It is on VZN. He gets 5G and no issues since last summer. For $25 month, it is fantastic and I may switch over myself.
I have nothing but good things to say about their network / service, been a customer for over 3 years. Currently am on the Visible+ plan, you can read about the differences but it's basically just paying for higher prioritization on the network. The Hotspot is unlimited also but capped at one device / 5MB down also I think.
I've travelled to multiple large citites in the US, midwest, west coast / east coast, and consistantly works well for me. International service in MX and CA are both good ( + plan only ), also I think the + plan includes calls / texts to those countries from the US.
If you're considering switching, I think you can do a free trial with an eSIM if your device has that option, and check it out yourself. Note that the free trial is the Visible base plan not the Visible+ plan.
I will also add that the price at Visible reflects the lack of customer support / service. So if you run into issues you'll have to use chat to work through it with them.
Thanks everyone! This has been most helpful. I think I'll start my kids off and see how it goes. I have an overseas trip planned next month and will probably change over after that.

Good luck ! They have some decent promos from time to time, so you can potentially lock in a lower rate, I believe they still have the $20 for 24 mo promo active also.
Can you bring an existing phone or do you need to buy one from them?
You can bring your own phone over, no issue.

I've done both and had no issues. I think if you purchase from Visible they automatically unlock the phone after 60 days in case you decide to port out to another carrier.
FYI,
There is sale that expires today Feb 14.
I can only recommend Visible + if you have priority data at VZW and go to Visible regular, you will notice.
More importantly, they do NOT have family plans. Each line has to have it's own email address and seperate account, and seperate payment. Tread lightly ![]()
