So now that mint is gone, what do you use for budgeting? I'm about to start snowballing, so i need something that will show me all my minimums and allow me to see how much i can put towards the account i want to zero out first,

hmmm i didn't know mint was closing how come i never got an email from them about that? or were you referring to manilla?
There was a post earlier in the thread, i thought it said it was mint that was closing. Is it still open?

as of right now it is still open i use it few times an week to check my spending , i actually used it today to check how much i spend on gas and groceries an month so i could get rough estimate on how many MR points i could get with EDP per year.
I'm in it now and its not taking quite a few of my cards and won't let me add utilities. I don't think its helpful to me. Maybe I need to go old school with excel.
God, I feel old.. lol I've been using MS Money since they came out in what.. '95? After they discontinued it, I tried Quicken but didn't like the interface so I switched back to MS Money Plus Sunset (last known version).
On my cell I just use a spreadsheet to keep track of all my cards.
Okay, so I've spent the last couple hours starting up budget tracker. Its all I need, the only problem is you have to enter every account manually, but I'm okay with that. It's 29.95 for the year or like $4 a month if you want to pay monthly. Its not the friendliest user interface ever, but I think it will work for me.
Quicken user from 1992 until earlier this year. I switched to Moneydance in January and I am very happy. I can now track my expenses on my computer and on my phone.
Maybe I'm just too old but how can you use online options like Mint to track your finances when there is no way to see charges that have not cleared? Don't you want to know what you 'actually' have instead of what the bank thinks you have? With Quicken and now Moneydance, my checkbook has been reconciled almost daily for 20+ years with just the push of a button...

Mint doesn't do the best job at this but you should be able to see pending transactions?
Not all pending transactions show at all banks. Plus, how do you see checks?
