Why am I not a full member?

To become a full member, I need a minimum of 5 posts, 60 Minutes On-line and 10 Sign-ins. I am still a New Member despite the fact that I have 5 posts, 102 Minutes On-line and 11 Sign-ins.Why?

The criteria thresholds you mentioned are based on guesses... not everyone ranks up at the published thresholds. Those have been provided by other members based on other's experiences so they provide an estimate as to what criteria needs to be met. Keep posting and you'll rank up before you know it.

Most of the lower thresholds are spot on for posts and sign ins. However, minimum sign-ins start to become speculative above contributor. Post minimums are well established based on a few hundred data points. That being said, the thresholds are minimums for potential rank up - meaning you can't get there with fewer but, it could take more. Minimum post counts have been checked/reported from new member through senior contributor. Super contributor through legendary contributor are estimates as fewer data points exist. For example changeover to Super from Senior has been documented at 5600-5700 but, not 5500. No Mega rank ever below 15,000 posts, Epic below 20,000 ot Legendary below 30,000.

Minutes online tresholds are hard to nail down and rather speculative. Its use as a factor was identified when the Forum experienced a system glitch resetting poster minutes on line but many retained post count.

BTW it appears the OP did rank up to Member. OP's current post count is 7. Posts on Smorgasboard don't count toward total for rank up purposes. Also, rank ups sometimes require a log out, log back in refresh.

Page 39, message 386 has last table update for rank levels.
