Long story short... I have been trying to repair my credit to purchase a home next year. I started in the low 400's last year across the board due to my lack of knowledge on credit when I was young. This also had led me to let my student loans go into collections. I am currently rehabbing my student loans and I just made my 7th payment.
My fico scores currently at EQ 614 TU 677 EX 646 I decided to look at my report a little bit more closely since I have been obessing about my credit and I can't seem to stay away from reading the forums.
Well I my I copied below what I just noticed on my reports and realized to this date they are STILL reporting late payments.... Is this even normal??
Once I finish my rehab will it delete all these late payments even the ones to this date? I am having a panic attack right now and don't know if maybe I am just being over paranoid. Any help is much appreciated. ![]()

Just wanted to added. After I finished my rehab for my 4 defaulted student loans (deptofed/nelnet) the current tradelines from the default were deleted completely. However, the original tradelines with the late payments leading up to the default still remain. I have tried everything to get Nelnet to delete but they will not delete original tradelines. They only change the default status to pays as agreed but leaves the late payment history. Just an FYI for you guys.
I am looking to help my husband rehad his loans. What number did you call for Nelnet? I looked on their website and could not find anything about rehabs.
