I know you are all hard at work with your credit goals. Have you progressed as far as you hoped? Were there any unforeseen expenses that cropped up and may have thrown you off schedule?
As a reminder, participation in these monthly check-ins is optional, just encouraged. The goal is to help keep you on track, so feel free to post your progress updates here. This is a judgment free zone! Feel free to say what's keeping you up at night or give yourself a kudo for having it all together.
Did you hit any potholes or speedbumps? Achieve some milestones, either small or mighty? Change your goals or add new ones?

What have been your biggest accomplishments and obstacles so far in the myFICO Fitness Challenge this year?
In the garden right now until the hard inquiries fall off, but already feeling the effects since mail offers keep presenting themself. I think I have less than six months to go on this and then a few fall off. Every day is a great day, and tomorrow will only get better.
Instead of myself this time around, I may lend out a hard inquiry for family, as a co-signer. They're working so hard, so I may lend my score on this one. I can take this one for the team. The smile on their face will be worth it.
Hello, I haven't checked in for a few months. My goal was to get to an Experian Vantage3 score of 751 by December 1, and I have not succeeded in that task, as I am at 740. (I used Experian Vantage3 for scoring as that is what Chase Credit Journey uses). I will set a new goal in January. I need to cut back on spending and pay my balances down a little. Other scores: Experian Fico8 748, TransUnion Fico8 750, TransUnion Vantage3 746, TransUnion Vantage4 786. My last inquiry was on 6/26/25. I will be back in the new year and hopefully be able to crack the 750 mark next year.
Starting Score: 726 (Experian VantageScore3)Hey, everyone!
Happy December! I'm really happy with the progress I was able to make on my credit building this year. As of today, my EX8 is at 754, my EQ8 is at 776, and my TU8 is at 774.
In some future-focused news, I've shifted my application priority from the Cash+ to the BCE. My profile, while strong, is still too young and thin for US Bank to approve me. In the meantime, the BCE is easier to get, meets my needs, and includes a very valuable $15 monthly Home Chef credit. I'm going for it next month to get ahead of the Bilt transition in February.
Two new accounts in two months is going to do a real number on my scores in the short term, but it'll solidly set me up to move from a young/thin file to a mature/thick file in April 2026. (Plus, the more aggressive I am now, the faster the new accounts start aging.) Once I acquire the BCE and Bilt 2.0, I'm going to garden until April 2027 (when I now plan to get the Cash+).
I've had an exceptional year credit-wise, and I owe a lot of it to the people on this forum.
See you all in 2026!

Late check-in. No news is good news. Keeping utilization low. Avoiding new credit. Bouncing back from new accounts earlier in the year. It's definitely a journey as I await 2027 for negatives to age off. Till then, patience and good behavior.
Majority of my scores are above 700, with a few high 600s. That's nice considering where I started 4 years ago.
@Kenny, as always thanks for keeping the thread going!
