100 point difference??!

Can somebody explain why there is a 100 point difference between my high and low score? My mid score is only 30 points off of my high score. I don't understand how Experian can be SO far off of the other two when the information is the same?

Re: 100 point difference??!

I asked a simlair question -- my one score was 50 points lower than the other two!  Didn't make sence.  I checked and the report was about the same...

Are these FICO or FAKO scores?

Provided all three of your reports are identical AND all things being equal, the FICO scores can very due to the fact that EX, EQ and TU (on myFico) are all using different models.

EX is the most recent version (sometimes referred to as EX 08)

EQ is the Beacon 5.0 model

TU is the TU 98 model (and keep in mind that there are now TU 04 and TU 08 models)

Hope this clears up the confusion.

P.S. If they are FAKOs they can vary due to a MULTITUDE of reasons

Not sure what a FAKO score is. All three of these scores came from myfico.com. All three show the exact same thing. TransUnion and Equifax both went up! Blows my mind.

Re: 100 point difference??!

FAKOs are the scores you can get from Credit Karma or Credit Sesame or other sites.

The difference in your FICO scoring is probably due to the fact that they are using different models.

Not only the fact they are different models but even if your reports were identical, and the same model was used, all three scores would be different.  This is because each FICO is formulated to each CRAs criteria.
