Re: Any one belong to Equifax directly

EQ is very very very slow.  However, it is much much much better than it was a year ago.  For about 4-5 months you couldn't login about 70% of the time...and when you did, it would time out before displaying anthing useful and would give errors when you requested updated pages.

So, yes it is very slow now, taking some time to complete any page display or report update....but in retrospect, it is 1000 times better.  Hopefully they will hire the same IT people that EX or TU have to do their web application.

Re: Any one belong to Equifax directly

The thing that really bothers me is that if you click on the "Credit Score" tab, you'd think you'd get your current credit score, no?  No.  The one that's displyed on my site is dated March 3, 2009.  I thought they told me that that gets updated whenever you or someone else pulls a credit report, but it hasn't updated when I've pulled a report.  To see your current credit score, you have to click on the "Score Watch" tab.  I've complained about this but they didn't pay any attention.

I have Equifax Credit Watch Gold, and I pull my full report once a month or so. Yes, you have to wait several minutes. I just do something else on the laptop and keep an eye on the little spinner on the tab to see when it's done.

I think it's a useful service for the price (just IMO.) I get credit report change alerts. I didn't buy scores, because I have Score Watch, so it would be redundant.

It's nothing like is was.  The login always works.  And the pages do come up, eventually.  Like HTSU, you just have to be prepared to have something else you can do for up to a couple minutes.

As for "nobody using TU or EX" I know for a fact that many large CCC's use EX (BoA, AMEX, CapOne, etc).  TU seems to be more regional.

I have this product as well and agree is it so sloooooooow at trying to get a new credit report!  , just like EQ is slow at adding accounts.

I'm probably going to cancel this product very soon. I have SW as well - I had a new account reporting and SW picked it up before Equifax monitoring service did, by a day or so.

Re: Any one belong to Equifax directly

I like being able to get my EQ score whwnever I want it, and getting alerts when there's been some activity or a score change.  I just applied for an ARCO debit card, so we'll see whether EQ can tell the difference between credit & debit cards.

My MYFICO score is WAY off.  MONTHS old.
