Auto -Enhanced Scores...with no auto loan history?

Hi!  I keep reading about how car dealers will pull auto-enhanced scores, since it probably holds more reliable information on whether or not you are going to repay your car loan.

But what if you have never purchased a car?  Does it hurt you, by dinging you for "no auto loan history"?  Or do they just pull regular FICO scores?

If they normally pull the auto-enhanced you will likely score lower than your classic FICO score - perhaps 10-15 points lower.

With your classic scores where they are, the auto-enhanced might wind up around the same. I think there's more of a differential when you're up in the 700's. Also, some lenders use classic rather than auto-enhanced; you just never know!
