Big difference in SCORE between myFICO and Equifax

When I log in to Equifax itself, on their website the score showing is 607. Credit Karma shows the same, CreditSesame does too. Here, on myFICO I am still seeing 583. I've been reading a lot about why myFICO is great because it's showing the actual scores that lenders see and how the scores can be different between the three bureaus up to even 100 points but... is anyone else experiencing this? I would think since Equifax itself is showing something else on their own website it should be the first source of accurate infomration, no?

The scores on CK, cS, and Equifax are not FICO scores, MyFICO is a true FICO.

I believe EQ shows their own internal scoring, not used by lenders. CK and CS are Vantage 3.0. Again, not used by lenders.

Re: Big difference in SCORE between myFICO and Equifax

Equifax does not provide a FICO score.  Not sure if they changed to the Vantage 3 model like Credit Karma or still use their proprietary score.  Either way, it's a score, but not a FICO score.  It's like comparing apples to oranges.  It's advised to focus on your FICO scores.  As a result not many here pay much attention to the other score models and won't be able to provide much insight to answer to the "why's".

Experian is the only CB of the 3 that actually provides FICO scores when you sign up with them.  The 3 bureaus worked together to create the Vantage score model but it has not taken off with most lenders.

If it doesn't say "Fico Score" it is not a real score that "90% of lenders use".  Equifax gives you their version which is merely a credit score. You have the option to order a "FICO Score" from their site. I have found Equifax FICO Scores to be grossly inaccurate.
