Experian is sitting at least 20 points below the other two. I need it to catch up!!
Assuming all things are equal across your three reports with regards to any lingering negatives, reported balances, AoA, AAoA and so on, it might be that the recent activity with new accounts - nine applications in a twelve month span if your signature is correct - had them pulling EX more than EQ and TU. That could explain the 20 pt difference you're seeing and won't see any improvement on EX til the HPs are at least a year old
I think it might be different for each person depending on what's on their credit reports. For me Experian has been amazing (at one point I had an 850 on there before adding some more new cards) but Equifax has been the bureau that has moved the slowest. I have some negative items on Equifax still that don't appear on Experian or Transunion.

@simplynoir great points! If this is indeed the case for the OP that could definitely cause the difference in scores they're seeing!

My Experian score is 30 points lower, and usually is.
I have 3 times as many inquiries on Experian, so that could be a factor, although I doubt it's the only factor.
Yeah i have the most INQ w/ them (EXP is 8 while TU is 6 // EQ is 1) but a lot of them are going to drop this fall so we shall see if this helps level out my scores.
The only issue that I am currently having is that my AU account from capital one still isnt reporting - this is a 12 year old account. Not sure why its not reporting so maybe thats another reason why its lower than the other 2 CRAs , who are reporting my AU account.
In my case, EX has the bulk of INQs (5 in the past year, I think).
In contrast, TU has 2 inquiries in the past two years.
The scores reflect that. (They also differ in AAoA, but the impact of the INQs outweigh that.)
EQ | 841 | 5 INQ (Auto, CC, HELOC, 2 mort) | 7y2m |
EX | 812 | 5 INQ (2 CC, 2 mort, HELoan) | 6y11m |
TU | 829 | 4 INQ (3 CC, 1 mort) | 6y6m |
5/24 | 3/12 | AoYA 0m | AoOA 23y6m | ~3% |
It has been my experience with Experian that they penalize for an AU that has a zero balance. I'm an AU on one of my spouse's cards and my Experian score drops 10 points every time I pay it off. Put a few dollars on there and I get the points back.
@CommanderCody im on AU on card that carries a 1% balance - experien still isnt reporting it while the other two do . If they did report it I am sure I would see a score boost. Not sure how to get them to start reporting it though .
Just need to get Experian 20 points so i can get 700s across the board 🧐
