Collections ( 1 or 5 does it count the same)??

I have 3 collections that are paid in full and one that is not. If I pay the other the CA said they will delete. My question is will deleting it raise my score or the fact I have a collection weather it's 1 or 6 counts against me the same? Hope that made sense!!

Each collection is scored as a collection, paid or not.  Getting one removed may help your score.  A lot of factors are considered such as how old it is.  The newer the collection the worst impact it is having on your score.  The older ones impact, though still a major derogatory fade a bit with time.
