My Discover card says 0% intrest until the fall. And for amount due it says "$0". I normally pay my cards off instantly, but I thought I might take advantage of interest-free utilization. Is this okay, or do I need to pay something each month? I noticed my FICO score dropped 3 points and I was wondering if not making a payment of any kind meant I was missing a payment?
Also, is there a way to tell if you have used up all of the 5% promotion, in excess of $1500, without going through and counting everything up? I'm using my Discover card for restaurants but when that runs out I want to switch to my Freedom card, but don't know when I've exhausted the $1500 with Discover.
You would, of course, need to make the minimum payment each statement period.

The offer is for 0% interest, which means that if you pay it off in full before the promo period is over you don't pay interest. However, there will still be a minimum payment due every month.
If you didn't make a payment of any kind by the due date, then, yes, you did miss one payment. Call up Discover and explain the misunderstanding.
