Difference on Credit Reports

Ok, here is one for my genius people out there.... please chime in......

On my DH Credit Check Total reports his scores are Experian 663, Equifax 707, TRANSUNION 651....

On Transunion and Experian reports show that him being AU on my CC's is helping him but on Equifax (which is his highest score) it is hurting him being on my accounts. I do have about 46% utilization across the board.

How/Why is it possible for me helping him on 2 of his reports which are his low scores but yet hurting him on one that has his high score???

Re: Difference on Credit Reports

I've gotta believe that your husband is in different buckets on his EX & TU; there must be an account (or something) on those reports that isn't on his EQ report.  And, presumably, being an AU is beneficial on the lower scoring bucket, but not on the higher scoring bucket.

Re: Difference on Credit Reports

Negative reason codes are all that matter, not the positive ones.  I assume you're referencing positive reason codes suggesting that the AU account(s) are helping.  Positive codes are just there for fluff and don't have any bearing on score.  That's not to say that an AU account can't help, but you can't go off of positive reason statements from CCT or any CMS.  Just focus on the negative codes, as those factors are hindering your score.
