EX FICO 3

Hello, all!

I'm interested in my EX FICO 3 score. I have MyFico Premier, but can't seem to find it. Am I just missing it?

If it's not there, any advice on approximating with a score that is there? Is it close to FICO 8?

TIA!

Yes it's there. It's in the Credit Card group of scores. In my case it behaves most like EX FICO 2.

Re: EX FICO 3

Ah I see it now, thank you so much!

My 3 is 50 points less than my 2 for some reason. I have some derogs, so maybe 3 weights them more heavily.

I've never seen anyone reference FICO 3 before Smiley Happy I wonder what reason you have to follow it so rigorously Smiley Happy

Re: EX FICO 3

Score 3 is very sensitive to new accounts. Also to inquiries. Very difficult score. Very few institutions use it. Like SJ, I’m curious why you’re following score 3?

Re: EX FICO 3

I bank at USAA, and I plan on apping for one of their cards soon (waiting for CR updates). I was told by a few members that's what USAA uses for CC decisions.

Please correct me if this information is inaccurate. I really have my sights set on one of their cards.

I just checked my FICO 3 and it's 35 points lower than my FICO 2.

4 weeks ago it was only 6 points lower.

As of now, but it's in some crazy flux. Finishing up the rebuilding road, and there's almost 12 items changing this month. Anywhere from Pay-For-Delete collections to items aging off from exclusion date. EX FICO 3 at a nasty 575, but some of that is CC chargeoffs hitting me at 100% aggregate uti. After this month's updates I'll be at 8.9% AZEO. There will be 2 tradelines remain as PIF derogs (out of 9 starting derogs that the current score is derived from)...sooo I'll just have to see what the algo does after it's done being dizzy from the whirlwind.

I'm hearing alot about USAA's sweet spot being a 680 EX FICO 3. Although 105 additional points is a tough one, I'd estimate I've lost 60-75 of those just in aggregate and individual utilization alone. Example: 2 Navy Fed cards with 10k CL each reporting 12k+ balances.
