I purchased Score Watch for $14.95/month this morning in Equifax website. They claimed it to be a FICO score, but when I asked the CSR, he could not tell me the model that they used. Does anyone know whether they give EQ 04 or EQ 08?
And do I really get to monitor my score daily for this product? Because they say that I can get "a full FICO® score and Equifax Credit Report™ twice per year" then "track [my] FICO® score over time"
Totally confusing.
yes its a fico 04 and you get you get two updates it wll send you emails when your accounts on your report change if your score changes it will let you know

So it lets me know the score has changed but does not tell me it's changed by how many points?

Works the same way as myFICO's did when it was a seperate product, or the same as the current 3B monitoring does except with a Beacon 5.0 score as I understand it; I've never used it personally though. The updates come with new scores, the twice annual I think is the reports itself.

I wish I could get the 3B monitoring but my SSN is not old enough. Just hate this 24 month old SSN rule of myFICO
One way I monitor Equifax score watch to tell when its FICO 04 changes and by how much is to set up an alert under My Account. In that section there is a preference where you indicate the target score for alerts. For example, if my current score is 680 I place 681 in the target score field. Then when my score changes I receive an alert stating I reached the target and my new score is 685. If I am anticipating a decrease, I place a lower score in the field and it works the opposite way. You can change the target score at anytime.

So you don't know the exact change if you don't set it that way?
OK so when there is a change you will get a email telling you of the change then you log in and look at alert and see what happened IE a score change or balance change or what ever it is.
set the alerts up anyway you want and you will be alerted of any change that happens big or small

Thanks!
