Hi everyone,
I am subscribed to MyFICO and I just got a notification this morning that my Equifax score dropped by 50 points?! from 749 to 699.
I read my entire file, I couldn't find ANY normal reason to that, No one lowered my CL, I didn't open any new accounts this month (I opened 2 business credit cards but it was 2 month ago from AMEX with soft pull)
No past dues, no collections, and it happened only to my Equifax score, my other scores are TU 756, and EX 749
Any guesses where should I start investigating that? I have NEVER been below 710
@Anonymous Not sure if this is a similar issue. Do you have any installment loans not reporting correctly?
OP, reach out to MyFICO tech support. They seem to be the link with these posts. Might be MF and not EQ related
No installments as of yet and I don't think it's MF issue cuz I just pulled CR from Experian (I'm subscribed there as well) and I saw my score there was dropped 50 points as well (only on EQ file) the weirdest thing I've ever experienced
I just spoke to MF customer support and they confirmed EQ have an issue transmitting ANY activity for the month of August and a lot of customers were affected by that. They are working to solve the problem but it is definitely a EQ glitch

I'm sure this is extremely frustrating. I'm glad you got some answers. Hopefully a fix and report update to come soon!
Glad I saw this post. I have been desperately waiting for FICA 5.4.2 score (to refinance mortgage) to average above 760 and can only pull for free (Premier ) once a month which was today. Equifax is at only 744 while others are above 760 with an average of 757 and I need 760!
Equifax reports FICO 8 at 803 with the current correct 1% utilization of cc (total about $89K on 7 cards).
Equifax 5,4,2 reports 744 with 5% utilization.
HOWEVER for 5,4,2 ALL 3 bureaus report 5-6% utilization while all 3 report 1% correct for FICO 8!

@Anonymous To clarify, lenders use the middle score of EX2, TU4, EQ5. They do not use the average. Example 400, 765, 760. The 760 would be your MMS Mortgage Middle Score.

^^^I have been waiting for the updates too. I have been tinkering with my reports trying to see what my best mortgage scores could be. Thanks for the update Newbieleo! 👍
