Experian Inquiry Threshold DP

Acquired a new inquiry on Experian today and had a score drop of 7 points, just sharing some DPs.

Previously had 2 inquiries on my EX, both on 1/14/2021. Had no score change with either inquiry. With the third inquiry added today my EX scores across the board dropped 4-8 pts. EX Fico 8 down 7 points from 721 to 714. No other changes.

Wil check back 8/1 and see if an inquiries in 6 month threshold is crossed.

Thanks for the Dps.

Recently I had my first inquiry on EX in the last 18 months. I only lost 3 points, was thinking it would've been a few more.

Is there a threshold for inquiries at 6 months? I know after a year inquiries aren't scorable any more.

As an FYI..my SO had a hard pull back in February, and the Experian Score Simulator has her due for a 5 point increase next month (which has been very accurate for her profile), which I can only tie to the 6 month anniversary of the HP.

Mind you, it is the only HP on her report.

I had 0 HP's on my EX until my little spree last month. I had 2 added in a month and 0 pts lost. So your 3rd may have been a turning point. When the new accounts arrived. Then the needle moved.

Pretty sure that is the case for my profile, interested to see if there is a 6 month inquiry threshold though as well!

I recently had 3 new ones on my report for Ex Fico 8 dropped 3 pts, biggest hit I took was Fico 2 (Mortgage) dropped 24 pts
