How bad are these hurting fico scoring?

Hello,

My baddies, a mortgage account that was late from 12/04 - 5/05.  Paid in full 5/05,  judgment from 2004 paid and one 30 day on a mortgage from 2002, which is paid in full.

Unsuccessful getting these removed.  How bad are they hurting scores?  EQ 692 TU 708 EX fako 731

Only open TL is unsecured master card from Orchard Bank 320 CL opened 4/09 pay in full each month

Credit History 18 years from a master card 500CL account closed but reports paid as agreed no lates

That 30 day late from 2002 isn't affecting your score at all, and should be falling off soon.  How late were you on the mortgage?  Are you saying that you didn't pay at all between 12/04 and 5/05?  If that's the case, then those derogs are hurting your score severely, as well as the judgment, although it would be impossible to tell how much without knowing all of your report.  You could probably help your scores by opening a second CC.

Yes, mtg was unpaid during that time. That is my whole CR. Should I try and petition the court to vacate judgment?  I have sent two certified letters to EMC Mtg, but they were returned undeliverable.  I was hoping since mtg is paid off they would report, paid as agreed.

You can try, I've seen people have paid judgments vacated before but it seems to depend on where you live and what judge gets your case.  If it's paid off it should report as paid as agreed, with lates showing for those months you missed payment.  You can send your proof that it's paid off and dispute it with the CRAs to get it to show as pays as agreed.

Re: How bad are these hurting fico scoring?

Hi Bobtail,

I have a thin file as well.  My file is almost identical other than the mortgages.

Have you applied for anything recently? I have 1 IQ from April.  Denied by Cap One for insufficient credit history and lates.

I feel stuck.  I'm applying for a mortgage next year and need 3 TL's but it doesn't look good.
