Re: How long can closed accounts show up for?

My closed positive accounts did remain on my report for ten years . . . I had that happen with my Chase auto loan and several credit cards; I then rushed to add accounts since my file was thin.

Re: How long can closed accounts show up for?

The only time I appreciate EQ screwing up is with one of my closed cc's that's still being reported as open.  21 yrs age now.  Also, another thing to appreciate EQ for is their long memory when it comes to closed acct lingering......

Closed/reporting

Webbank: 16 yrs, 10 months, closed 2011

Care Credit: 20 yrs, 3 months, closed 2008

Sears: 23 yrs, 3 months, closed 2005

Citizens Bank: 14 yrs, 5 months, closed 2012 (I'm watching this one and its affect on the others if it falls off this year) Still on TU & Exp as well.

eta: Forgot to meniton that all of the above were in good standing at closure.
