How long for score to be raised 50-80 points?

I need to raise my score at least 55 points as the minimum and 85 points would be the ideal. What is holding me back is my credit card. I need to bring it down at least to be at 30%; or lower of the available credit before December. So, the sooner I am able to do it the higher my score can go up. Score is at 504 and I have been told 590 at least and then 620 would be ideal. I have to find $2000.00 soon to pay my cc down to 30% of usage. Is this useful? Feasible and quickest way to raise score? Will I see a noticeable difference when my $3500 CC (currently maxed out)goes from $3500 to 1050. (30%) and my $1000 limit card (currently at 664.) goes to $250 (30%) How much should I expect to see once that happens and any ideas how long it might take?

Please try the FICO score simulator. The best and fastest way to get higher scores is to pay credit cards down as much as possible, and let only 1/2 of them report small balances. It depends on your special case how much you will gain. But keep in mind that the CCC only update your balances once a month.

If you haven't got a CJ account yet I would do so to help with your Util. And it won't ding you with an inquiry. They will report a $2500 credit line. You have to buy something first before they report and they only report to TU and EX. Just buy the cheapest thing you can find and pay with paypal.  It will give you a boost though.

PS. Forgot to mention I'm in Canada so I just realized about Crown Jewelers and that I can't apply. Too bad. I wish there was something like that here, I would be all over it.
