If you are going to delay getting the job you might not have to become an AU on your friend's credit. With scores around 725 you have a very good chance getting there on your own. Your English is a lot better than my Polish. You'll be OK.

Re: How to increase score

Do Verizon have  a right  to mark inquire just for subscription to sattelite internet? as a hard cover?

If I do Autorized user and add 5 credit card with average credit of 4 years? and then after 1 month( after update credit report ) will creditors  know that I just became authorized user? or creditors will think that I am authorized user for long time?

thank you( dzienkuje- in Polish)

Re: How to increase score

I will tell you what I would do if I were you. Do a Google search for authorized user. Read all you can. There is another credit message board that you might want to ask your question on. Do a Google search for www.creditboards.com. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people there who can help you. Be careful there are some dangers to becoming an authorized user. I don't know enough to really help you but there a lot of people who can. Try that message board. Good luck.

I have two hard enquiries from Cingular for first a cell phone servive, then for a second line. If I added their internet card I am sure I would get a third one Smiley Very Happy

After 2 years when those inquire disappearance will my fico score go up those 30 point? I mean if they going to give me a credit of 30 point? how this work? They give credit of some point in some period of time?

Re: How to increase score

I don't know the formula, but the computer likes a maximum of 1 enquiry per year for a very high credit score.

EQ is still dinging my score for the two Cingular inquiries, plus one for a credit card and one just to find out what sort of a mortgage I could get if I had to move in a hurry.  So 4 is too many, even though only one was truly for a credit application.  Which was approved, by the way.  This is the only difference between my EU and TU reports and there is a 48 point score difference (TU had one inquiry).

That's nuts?  You should not be punished to the tune of 48 points!  I just wonder sometimes if FICO and especially FAKO scores just spit them out arbitrarily.Smiley Mad  I just checked my FICO EX and my score went down 8 points from a 755 to a 747 FOR NO REASON.  I printed both reports and did a side by side analysis and the only difference was my accounts aged two months.  Absolutely no lates, no new baddies, nothing dropping off that was positive, no changes on util, no new inq's, cl's the same, no judements or public records, no new accounts.  Just two additonal POSITIVE months of payments on time!  Incredible.Smiley Sad

Re: How to increase score
