Officially made it to 800 today with Equifax! I have a total of 5 personal credit cards, no mortgage, no car loans, no student loans, and none of those fake SSL loans, either. (That was just a joke...don't get offended if you have one.) A long time closed but still reporting Lowe's card is helping, I'm sure.
I actually hit 812 with TransUnion late last summer based on the letter Huntington sent me when I applied for a Voice card. But 4 new cards in less than a year caused a major score dip. Last new account was in November, so I'm still being hit with the new account penalty. Can't wait to see what happens when that falls off.
