Lender pull vs Amex

how can my mortgage lender pull EX, Beacon 5 with a score of  742

Five days, mind you  later

Amex pulls EX and tells me that my score is 696

???

We don't know for certain the EX FICO version that AMEX uses.   It might be FICO 08, whereas your mortgage lender is pulling FICO04.    Or they might be pulling a bankcard enhanced FICO model.

the mortagage one was the 04 version. they told me

by the way - Amex are looking into my credit file after the recent denial

i dont have my hopes up, but at least i got them to take a second look
