Re: My Experian Observation

I understand your argument, CreditAble.  My sweet spot is actually .0048209%!

Re: My Experian Observation

I think the difference in the balance could easily have caused this change in score. My score changes from balances such as that.  As a matter of fact.  My scores increased 20 points (except on Experian - my EX just sits and sits the same for the last few months argh) just from reducing a balance on my only card reporting a balance the month before from $60 to $14.  Since the credit limit on this card is $6500. Both balances are still at 1% range.  Nothing else changed since the previous report. I monitor my credit almost daily and everything else was the same.

Re: My Experian Observation

Creditable point taken. However I wonder how much your score is influenced month to month based on what others in your bucket are doing? Once my reports are clean in a little more than a year maybe I can get a better handle on how my actions affect my score. For now it doesn't seem to matter much how much I let report so long as I allow 2 cards report a balance. If I let 1 report my scores drop around 12 points.

I gotta say, I'm disappointed I can't try this out for myself.  Maybe I should have played while Experian was still cooperating. :/
