Negative Account: EX-TU Comparison

I have one negative account. It had 2 30 days late that will be falling off soon. I got my TU report tonite and noticed a 30 day late came off. The 30 day lates were from June 2009, March 2009) What's weird is that the 30 day late from June 2009 is gone and the March 2009 is still there. This car loan was paid off in July 2009.

I compared the EX and TU tradeline and have copied them below. Notice the recent payment history. Why the difference?

Re: Negative Account: EX-TU Comparison

With respect to when lates come off, creditors can remove them early. Perhaps the one creditor goes by calendar year out of convenience while the other goes by year/month. The difference between EX and TU may relate to update timing.

Thanks for the reply TT. I realize creditors can remove lates early. The creditor was the same. (Wells Fargo). This was a single account. The last time Wells reported was in June 2009. Based on that I would say TU removed the late. Don't know why the June 2009 would be removed first. Logically the March 2009 should be removed first. Could have been a mistake on TU`s part but I'm not complaining as I will have no lates come March, the latest.
