No score jump :(

Hey,

So i got a unpaid collection from 2007 removed from my CR & there was no score change that was the only collection i had, the only baddies I have are a few 30 day late payments. How could this be?

From what I understand collections lose weight as they get older.  Just having that collection fall off may not have been enough to cause a fico update.  Give it a little time for your next update and see what your score is

Was this a FICO score ?   Where did you obtain your score ?

Hopefully it will change!....there fico scores, i got the EQ fico from myfico, EX Fico from recent a CC application.

I noticed my biggest score jumps when I got collections deleted that within the past 2 years

Yeah I think since it was going to fall off in about 2 years or less, it didn't help but now there isn't a collection on my CR so I am a little happy

Which is more recent the collection or lates?

the lates, they are about 2 years old

The lates are what is impacting the score more than the collection point wise. Whatever impact the colleciton was having in a negative effect something else is off setting it. You can try the goodwill  letters to get the lates removed.

Oh ok, thanks Andy...Yeah I sent a couple of GW at the beginning of the month so just waiting to hear back..It should go up soon I got a CLi on 2 cc's so that should help when they post.
