I had a few negatives (late payments) on all my reports and have watched as all but one has fallen off of my reports. I still have a Children's Place negative on my TU report. This same account dropped off of EQ and EX several months ago (like late summer/early fall). According to my TU report, it should fall off next month, but when I look at my 3B report from MyFico, it says the negative is 6 years and 7 months old, making it seem like July is the time.
So, which is it? Should I complain if it's still there after March or just ride it out until July?
And, bonus question: why would the date vary so much according to the bureau? I had one fall off TU earlier than the rest by almost a year so I don't get the impression it has to do with only TU hanging on to these to the bitter end.
Call up Transunion. Front line csr may be able to assist for EE. If not, you will need to speak with a supervisor.
7 year (plus 180 days) mark is the DoFD exlusion date. You can request for EE Early Exclusion on your derogatory / delinquency from:
TransUnion - 6 months early.
Experian - 3 months early.
Equifax - 1 month early. I would not recommend requesting EE. Let derogatory / delinquency fall off naturally.
A few minutes ago I got a notification from MyFico- I went in and my TU score jumped 43 points!!! They dropped the negative- yahoooo!!!

Congratulations on your success! 👍
Excellent score bump!
Why would you leave Equifax negatives to fall off naturally?

Data points show horror stories.
1 month wait should not be too long. If one were to allow EQ intervention, things may go wrong.
